please help me, I have lots of e-books in pdf. format and I would like to read them on my cell phone
if it's possible, please answer with a link that leads me to the PDf reader
I need to send some pictures via internet using a "PDF" format for a company to place our Churches ad in a paper. We have Adobe reader 8 free edition, but we can not find a way to send "PDF" using it, it wants us to purchase an expensive program through them that our budget can not afford. We currently use Windows XP, and Word Perfect is our word processor.
What do we do ?

By highlight I mean changing the colour of the selected text, like the function in word. Or do I have to paste the whole article into word to highlight it?

Hello,
Whenever I receive a PDF file via email that needs Adobe Reader in order to view, for some reason each time I double click on that attachment, it opens up using Windows Notepad. (I think my computer defaults to this program.)
How can I change the settings so that my PC can open a PDF using the correct program and not Notepad?

Ever since I installed Adobe photoshop all of the PDF files open with Adobe photoshop instead of Adobe Acrobat reader. Please give detailed instructions on how to fix this. I am bad with computers but Photoshop takes too long to load and lets you only view one page. thanks in advance.
I do not need to generate PDF documents. I only want to be able to call the Acrobat Reader to view them from my application.
I am working on a computer running Windows 2000 version 5.0 service pack 4. I cannot install software on this computer due to the administrative policy. I need to read and print a PDF. However, Acrobat Reader 7.0, which is installed, does not work.
This means, that by running AcroRd32 from the desktop shortcut, the start menu or from within an application (i.e. Internet Explorer) the most I get is a brief hourglass. Double clicking a PDF on the desktop gives me similar results.
Adobe Acrobat says free,but that's just to download.
I converted a Powerpoint file to pdf. Now I want to add links but when I try to open Professional, only Adobe Reader opens. I've tried other pdfs that I edited in Professional and they all default to Reader instead. What do I do?

I have a Nokia 6300 mobile phone and i want to use it for reading documents.
Which files can my mobile phone read and with which application?
Can i read pdf documents on my mobile with a pdf reader?
Can i read simple documents which we create in Notepad or ms word with my mobile.
Do i have to use any converter to my files to a format which will work with Nokai 6300?

I was using Sumatra but I just tried Foxit for the first time and it is amazing!
Sumatra PDF was a bit basic, but Adobe used upwards of 47Mb RAM memory.

I am really, really getting sick of having to go into my task manager and manually end all the different processes everytime I view a pdf file!
And yes I have reinstalled adobe, I have reinstalled windows. I even OWN the full adobe suite as my husband uses it for work. I am really just sick of Adobe.
Everytime I view a pdf in via a website it opens two processes:
acrobat.exe
adoblem_cleanup.001
If I am lucking once I close down the browser the first one will go away. The other one never does, and each time I open a new pdf a different process is started and they eat memory like crazy. Also sometimes there is a third process but it isn't showing up right now.
I've downloaded Adobe Reader online-Doesn't work!
I've downloaded Foxit-prints text and graphics but not images!
What more can I do? ? ? ?
The Adobe Reader program wont even open, let alone read a document! !

I'm at University and have to print piles of papers, homework, and articles every week. I'd do about anything to just have it all in a digital paper form--even if that's not quite as easy to read as printed paper. But I've heard the Kindle is horrible for .pdf. Is there any decent choice for viewing all kinds of .pdf files in digital paper format?
Just to be clear: I'm looking for a Digital Paper reader like the Amazon Kindle, not a software program for my computer.

hi im trying to export a report from a site.it has a link to export the report in to pdf file,the report contains some arabic words but they dont appear in the .pdf file...does the acrobat reader support arabic language?

Uhmmm... the 5700 is a smartphone .... i've used around 15 phones wit symbian till now nd all of them worked brilliantly with software... So does my 5700, only problem is i cant find a FREE reader... i Did find some trial-ware at allaboutsymbian

I know mac is packaged with it's own PDF reader. (preview) but i'd like to find a better free PDF reader.
