How do I type on an Adobe Reader (.pdf file)?

you need to buy the version of Adobe that allows you to write.
I don't think you can, you have to copy it to a word processor
If you have the full Adobe Acrobat program (not just the acrobat reader) you can make a new text field from the advanced commenting menu and type into those. If you only have the reader, then you can't do it, unless the form was set up to be typeable by the origional creator.
you can't type in Adobe Reader, that's why it's called reader and not writer, you can get evaluation version of adobe writer from adobe.com or search for free onces on google and download.com
