Is there such a thing as a pdf reader for the playstation 3?
I'm not talking about installing a linux box on the console. Just with the the software that came pre-installed

A "pdf" is an extension to a predetermined Adobe form for reading only. Unless you have the Adobe reader installed in the PlayStation 3 then you won't be able to read any "pdf" file. Software that comes pre-installed usually is sturdy software that is hard coded into the system or its chips (much like a bios). It is difficult to uninstall this software unintentionally and therefore the need to reinstall it becomes difficult if not impossible.
