How can I remove the border while leaving the text and images intact? I have an older version (5 or 6) of Adobe Acrobat reader, but I'm hoping there's an alternative freeware program than can resolve this problem so I don't have to install the bloatware that is Acrobat. However, I will install it if absolutely necessary. Any ideas?
Thank you!

My site is in pdf format. Can I 'hit' the site repeatedly from the same computer after I have found it in a google or yahoo search string and increase the hits, or will the fact that the same IP is hitting it result in only one hit regardless? Also, are there any suggestions on free ways to increase traffic other than linking to other sites? I have submitted the site to search engines already.

In Vista, printing to PDF is not an option. Microsoft forces you to use XPS. It will not let me print to PDF, it only lets me print to XPS.
Can someone tell me how I can override this and print to PDF?
Microsoft sucks, its always against the web standards. Good think Yahoo declined Microsoft's offer of buying out the company.
@smgray99
On my desktop I run Windows XP and I know I haven't installed a 3rd party program and I know for sure I can print to PDF and not XPS.
Yahoo tells me I should have a pdf file of info on my website to download rather than the word download I have now. Why is pdf easier for people to download? One of my pc's at home cannot download pdf's but it can always download word files. I would think word would be an easier download. What do you think?
Hey everyone,
I know its not possible to normally put PDF files on the older-non video 1st and 2nd generation Ipod Nanos, but I have a large amount of reference material in PDF format that I'd like to have on there. Since these Nanos can play Videos, I would imagine they could play PDFs as well. Is this possible?
Anyway, a lot of these PDFs have graphs and images, and cannot be converted to Text. Also, if there was some kind of peripheral program to scroll through these PDF, that would also help. I'd be willing to reformat and even lose the ability to play movies or music.
Thanks
Yeah, I won the Ipod in a raffle.
Sell a used ipod worth maybe $80 for a $500 pocket PC? Yeah... I'll get going on that.
After downloading an application online in .pdf format, i fill in the information and Adobe does not let me save the file as a .pdf with information on it, however has two options, saving it as a empty .pdf(just the questions) or a .txt file...How do I save it as a pdf?

How can I save a Word Document as PDF?
My work has some program or something that changes a Word doc to PDF. I think it is actually a Printer (?) so you tell it to Print to PDF and then you can save it.
My Document is 3 pages long, so I cant download a program because they only give you 2 pages free.
I have word 07 with Vista, but I also have word 03 on XP
Surprisingly, Adobe Acrobat/Reader doesn't. When I installed it on my new laptop with Vista it said it didn't work with the program. But then it DOES allow me to open documents on my laptop as PDF's but won't open them on the web or allow me to "Save as PDF" within Excel.
Does anyone know of a reliable PDF reader/maker that DOES work with Vista?
I received a fax by a company that requires me to fill in info. and then send the form, all filled out back to them.
The fax was sent to myfax.com which I downloaded to my cpu as a pdf file. Can I covert the pdf file? Or is there a way to fill out the info on my computer without having to print the blank form(pdf file) out and filling it in with a pen? I would like to type the info directly into the pdf file and then send it as an email attachment instead of having to fax it back.

does anybody know a good free (not shareware or trial) converter from pdf format to doc. (word format)? I`ve already tried solid converter pdf, but i only got the trial version and it has got restrictions. also, if somebody knows a site where i can download solid pdf converter (free version), please, write an answer or give a link.
I`ve tried some freeware pdf converters, but the converted file doesn`t look good. There isn`t the same text and the page is full of signs like :"?&*(%", so it`s clearly that nobody can understand it.
