pdf Question And Answer

How can I convert an Office word document to the PDF format?

Oh, and besides PDF, what formats does adobe reader read? If there is no way to convert notepad or word files into pdf, how are pdf files created? Thanks!

You need a special program for that
Copy and Paste it... thats the only possible way for now orr use this http://www.doc2pdf.net/converter/
no
Look for a program called PDF Creator, should be able to find one at www.sourceforge.net. Once installed, it creates a "printer" so you can "print" any document to a *.PDF file...
try zamzar http://www.zamzar.com/
go to this link : http://www.bullzip.com/products/pdf/info.php click download and install the printer driver in your PC open your word doc press CTRL +P select the printer BULLZIP PDF PRINTER in the Printer Field. make the adjustment as you like Voila! it's done.
If you don't have the software to convert to a PDF on your computer, then you can go to Adobe's web site and subscribe to their service to get it done. Here is the link: http://createpdf.adobe.com. Or...if you're working on a Mac...just click on Print and select the button "Send To PDF" and save it on your hard drive. Good luck!
Adobe Acrobat only reads and makes PDF files. You can easily do this using the following free software: http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/ this installs like a printer. Once your are in Word, go to File>Print and then select the PDFcreater as the printer, and then it will load the program, and then you can save as a pdf file.
https://www.pdfonline.com/convert_pdf.asp this link works wonders. u don't need to install it or anything. just upload the file u want to convert to pdf. then put the name you want the file to be then enter ur email. they will email u your file in pdf form. it's fast. takes about 5 minutes longer if it's a big file.
You have quite a few choices. One thing you can do is open the Office document with OpenOffice and then save it as PDF. OpenOffice is a free download. Another option is to get a PDF printer program. This allows you to print to PDF from almost any program. CuteWriter is one program that does this, and it's free. One last option is to get a program like Adobe Acrobat. This provides you with the most capability for creating and manipulating PDF files, but it's expensive.
You can try CutePDF. It is freeware that will convert documents to PDF (www.cutepdf.com). You can also install OpenOffice (www.openoffice.org). It is a free, robust Office suite. You can open your Word Doc. in OpenOffice and then it can convert your document to PDF. Reader will only open PDF formatted documents. I am not aware of any other formats it will open.
what you need to do is called print to File. Click Print and go to the bottom of the list of printers, you should see something like print to file and have the option of printing as a PDF format. Its really the same thing as Save as but more complex.
Word2007 has the option to save as a PDF but if you want to save any file or image to a PDF download a free program called Cutewriter from http://www.softpedia.com/get/Office-tools/PDF/CuteWriter.shtml Then when you want to use it just hit the print option on your computer and choose Cutewriter as the printer. It will ask you where you want to save it. It is real simple I use it all the time to copy receipts and invoices.
I use the full version of Adobe Acrobat and it works just like a printer. you choose the pdf writer instead of your paper printer and in a second you have a *.pdf file of your print. http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?platform=Windows&product=9 Apparently there are some cheaper downloads available but I've never used them. http://www.docudesk.com/deskpdf_pdf_writer_lp5b.shtml?gclid=CJqQnvbWuJMCFQRJFQodDhKUDg There are also some free downloads but I haven't tried those either http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp
I'm using a free program for that , CutePDF. Instead of save as, you should print the word document, than choose the option Cute pdf writer instead of Microsoft Office document writer and choose a location to store it! ...easy as that! http://www.download.com/CutePDF-Writer/3000-6675_4-10206470.html?tag=lst-1&cdlPid=10724321 Good Luck!
There are a couple of ways: 1) convert it online at: http://www.pdfonline.com/index.htm 2) if you have to do it offline, install the free pdf995 from: http://www.pdf995.com/ And you choose PDF995 when you print from Office. It will create a PDF for you.
try "youconvertit" http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=youconvertit&fr=yfp-t-501&toggle=1&cop=mss&ei=UTF-8 , it converts many formats, and no need to install anything. and it's free. if you wish, it can send files only with no conversion. it downloads youtube videos, or converts them online. it also convert units
