pdf Question And Answer

Reliable PDF program that works with Windows Vista?

Surprisingly, Adobe Acrobat/Reader doesn't. When I installed it on my new laptop with Vista it said it didn't work with the program. But then it DOES allow me to open documents on my laptop as PDF's but won't open them on the web or allow me to "Save as PDF" within Excel. Does anyone know of a reliable PDF reader/maker that DOES work with Vista?

Normally Adobe Reader would just work fine, but otherwise Foxit Reader is another PDF reader
http://filehippo.com/download_foxit/ I have Vista Ultimate Edition... and i use foxit reader.. its free AND you can save, and edit pdf documents... it works flawlessly
There is a new Abode software package out now which is downloadable illeagaly of course from certain sites, this includes all of the old Macromedia files such as Dreamweaver and Fireworks and also includes photoshop.
To Save as PDF within Excel, do the addin. For 2007 it's here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=F1FC413C-6D89-4F15-991B-63B07BA5F2E5&displaylang=en As far as looking at them in Internet explorer, try installing the latest version of Reader. The one that came out of the box on my retail vista box didn't work either.
