EZ PDF Tools

I've been using yahoo mail since long time both new ajax version and the old classic one. Downloading any PDF attachment included in my messages was never a problem. But in the last days I cannot download any PDF. If I click over a PDF attachment the computer works a bit but then nothing happens. I've already installed Acrobat Reader 8. Same problem working with MS Explorer or Mozilla. Same problem working with beta or classic yahoo mail interface. No problems with other kind of attachment (word, excel...). No problems if I download PDF from other site other than yahoo mail. Do they have changed something in the system? W. The problem seems related only to documents made with some specific version of PDF. Infact I have some document I can open and other (the most part) where the system doesn't work.

Interesting problem. I don't think Yahoo has done anything to cause that to happen. That wouldn't make sense. Just for the heck of it, open your recently downloaded version Adobe Acrobat Reader. If that goes as it should, try opening a PDF document that you already have and see if there's any problem there. I'm just thinking maybe there was a installation issue and the Reader either didn't install properly, or isn't working properly. If either of those suggestions is the case, try dowloading again. Only possibilities I can think of off hand. Good luck.

I am having exactly the same problem. (See my similar question posting.) I've already re-downloaded Adobe 8, ran clean disk, emptied all unnecessary files, defragmented, you name it... If anyone knows what we can do, would be very grateful. This is all too aggravating... P..

Hi...I recently had the same problem, not being able to download any of my attachments which I was able to before. I fixed the problem by un-install and re-install the Zone Alarm Security. I think the problem may be in your local security settings. One way to test this is use another PC to login to your Yahoo mailbox and try the download. If it works on that PC but not the other it means the problem is not Yahoo but in your local settings. Best of luck.
